Is this product a knife sharpener?
This is not a knife sharpener, but a honer. This will allow your knife to align back up after a few fish, but will not put an edge back on your blade.We do recommend this product for quick touches when at the fillet table for our SORD knife.

How does this work?
The steeling rods are set at the perfect angle inside the crossteel and the weight is the perfect weight for steeling the knives. You put your knife in the middle of the two rods and run it straight down.
